Navigation
Control slide advancement on the connected PowerPoint machine directly from the Display app.
Navigation Buttons
The POWERPOINT CONTROL section of the toolbar provides direct slide navigation commands. All commands are sent to every selected Helper (see Multiple Targets).
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| First | Jump to the first slide in the presentation. |
| Prev | Go back one slide. |
| Hide | Blacks out the PowerPoint slideshow without ending it. The screen goes dark on the audience display. |
| Show | Restores the PowerPoint slideshow after a Hide. The current slide reappears on the audience display. |
| Next | Advance to the next slide. This is the most frequently used control during a live presentation. |
| Last | Jump to the last slide in the presentation. |
Using Navigation During a Show
Navigation commands are sent the moment you click a button. The connected PowerPoint machine responds immediately and the Display updates to reflect the new slide.

When the Display app window is in focus, the following keyboard shortcuts are available:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
→ or Space | Next slide |
← | Previous slide |

Presenter Cueing Systems
NextNote is compatible with industry-standard presenter cueing systems and clickers. Supported devices include:
- MasterCue / Microcue — Hive Industries wireless presenter systems
- Perfect Cue — dSan presenter remote
These devices send standard slide navigation commands to PowerPoint. Connect them to the NextNote Display machine and NextNote will process them like any other navigation input.
